Please read our terms before booking your appointment.

These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and expectations for all clients of MIG Beauty Salon, Canterbury. By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms below.

1. Appointments & Bookings

  • All appointments must be booked in advance.

  • You may be asked to pay a small deposit to secure your booking.

  • Deposits are non‑refundable, except where required by law.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment or rescheduling.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.

  • No‑shows may be required to pay a deposit for future bookings.

3. Patch Testing

For your safety, a patch test is required 24–48 hours before certain treatments, including:

  • Eyelash extensions

  • Tinting (if offered)

If you decline a patch test, we may refuse to carry out the treatment.

4. Health Conditions & Contraindications

You must inform us of:

  • Allergies

  • Skin sensitivities

  • Medical conditions

  • Recent procedures

  • Any changes to your health since your last visit

We reserve the right to refuse or postpone a treatment if it may be unsafe for you.

5. Children & Guests

To ensure a calm and safe environment:

  • Children under 12 must not be left unattended in the salon

  • Only the client receiving the treatment may be in the treatment area (space and safety reasons)

6. Hygiene & Safety

We follow strict hygiene procedures, including:

  • Sterilising tools

  • Using disposable items where appropriate

  • Sanitising treatment areas between clients

Clients must follow aftercare instructions to ensure safe results.

7. Payments

  • Payment is required at the end of your appointment

  • We accept cash and/or card (depending on your setup)

  • Prices are subject to change, but you will always be informed in advance

8. Refunds & Complaints

  • We do not offer refunds for completed treatments

  • If you are unhappy with your results, please contact us within 48 hours

  • We will assess the issue and offer a fix or adjustment where appropriate

Your satisfaction is important to us, and we will always try to help.

9. Gift Vouchers (optional)

  • Valid for 6–12 months (you choose)

  • Non‑refundable

  • Must be presented at the appointment

10. Photography & Social Media

  • Before/after photos may be taken with your consent

  • Photos may be used for social media or marketing only if you agree

  • You may withdraw consent at any time

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
